We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put down our beautiful Labrador, Chester, after 11 wonderful years — a decision no one ever wants to make. It was an incredibly difficult time, but Dr Mark at McIvor Road Veterinary Centre was truly incredible. He was kind, gentle, and took the time to explain the whole process so we felt supported and understood. As one of the nurses at the emergency clinic run through McIvor road, a high standard of care is a huge priority for me. There’s no where else I would want to take my dogs on weekdays other than McIvor Road! The vets are knowledgeable, passionate, compassionate, honest and patient comfort always comes first. The nurses/reception as a whole are so highly skilled, very efficient, and go above what is needed to make patients comfortable and loved on. So impressed with this vet. Had a terrible expierience taking my dog to a different vet in bendigo so I booked in here for a second opinion. All of the staff were kind and friendly, from booking my appointment over the phone to attending. The nurses were so kind and gentle with my dog, the vet was so compassionate and very informative. He listened to my concerns and was very honest from the get go, referred me to a specialist and was all round very gentle and thorough. Very thankful for their time

I took my cat in on Christmas Day with what i thought was a sprained shoulder. The female emergency vet on that day lacked compassion and any form of customer service. She treated both my cat and myself like an inconvenience and then suddenly decided to grow a heart when she realised my cat had a blood clot caused by an undiagnosed heart disease. She called my cat dramatic for crying out and trying to get away from her and I do not blame my cat for a second for not wanting to be anywhere near that woman. I regret every day n... read more
