We absolutely loved McHales while we were in town for Christmasville! Yesterday afternoon we stopped for a late lunch and our waiter; Zach, was absolutely fantastic. Honestly, he was running circles around others that worked there. We dined in last Saturday night around 8:30-9 and only ordered 2 orders of wings. My fiancé wanted to go somewhere else but since he has never been to McHales and I have only been for a company event we decided to give it a shot. We watched 3 other tables come in after we ordered eat and leave. Our waitress comes over to tell us there is only one cook in the kitchen and wings take 20+ minutes (I worked in a restaurant that specializes in wings for over 10+ years, I know all about it). Great place for Fish and Chips & a cold beer!
McHales was one of our favorite hangouts 5-6 years ago, but has sadly gone down hill. We came in tonight because it was one of our bar crawl spots and were quickly reminded as to why we stopped coming. The bar staff was beyond rude and looked miserable to be here. The only good thing McHales has going for them is Zach Snyder - he ran his butt off to wait on 8+ tables while 2-3 people stood behind the bar.
