I agree with many others here. She was extremely rude, disrespectful, and didn't seem to do most things that are done at normal check ups! Won't be returning.
I have been bringing all three of my children to Dr. McDowell for over 15 years and know her to be a fabulous, highly-competent doctor who has taken excellent care of my children over the years! Her office staff is friendly, personable and accommodating, and they have always worked my children in for a sick visit during an illness - never once turning my children away. I have always been completely happy with the professional and accurate treatment that Dr. McDowell has provided to my children.
This woman is extremely rude to say the least. If I could give zero stars I would. She does not do well with children at all. She is disrespectful and I have never had such a terrible experience with a doctor in my life. Do yourself a favor and do not take your child to this woman.
This woman is a nightmare in the medical community. If I could give zero stars I would. She lacks real medical knowledge and makes up random answers to medical issues that mislead you because it appears she does not have the knowledge needed to treat children. Her egregious care could have resulted in my child's death. Now my poor baby is faced with serious medical challenges for the rest of her life because of Dr. McDowell's poor care. I want to cry daily over what this woman did to her.
I had the most traumatizing experiences with this woman. Over several visits I was ignored, disrespected, and ridiculed. Doctor McDowell is in my opinion the worst of the health care industry. Please take your children to another office. Thank God that my parents took me someplace else. There are doctors out there who care and listen. Don't subject your children to a possible traumatizing experience. It's not worth it. I wish I could take back all the time I spent in this terrible office.
