The history of McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants began when Bill McCormick purchased Jake's Famous Crawfish Restaurant located in Portland, Oregon, and brought the more than 100-year-old landmark back to life. When asked the secret of how he revitalized a restaurant on the brink of closing, McCormick says, "I like nothing better than being a good host." Just had an awesome dinner, drinks and deserts with my favorite peeps, Brinkley Hearn, David Hearn and Scott Zimkowski..Loved this place!
I will most definitely be going back!!! I tried the ultimate trio, the almond crusted rainbow trout and the gumbo...amazing!
This place has the freshest most fabulous seafood options from Pesto Mahi Mahi , Ouaters on the half shell and Pan seared Bourbon Salmon. Happy hour is fantastic from 4-7. Grilled fish tacos $2 Tuesday's, lettuce wraps, calamari and delish bruschetta, plus all hand pressed fresh cocktails. Grapefruit, orange and Lemons. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Just so so. Nice waitperson but food was not up to snuff for the price. No better than Red Lobster.
My husband proposed here. The staff made it very special for us from "She said yes" printed on our menus, a private booth with privacy curtain, a complimentary dessert with "She said yes" written in chocolate, exemplary service, etc. We have gone back many times and they always make it a special experience for us.
