We were greeted at gate by a true "mountain man" who was friendly & told us to drive carefully. The drive is scary but fun. Seated immediately by nice man who apologized for clouds. Said he didn't have control of weather. Ordered turkey & dressing with mashed potatoes & greens. Was best turkey i had ever had! Baked & grilled & tasty. Took home a piece of coconut cake & a piece of caramel apple cake. Delish! Views still spectacular even though we had to see them a little down the mountain. Hope to go back on a clear day.
After reading some reviews we didn't know what to expect from the greeter at the entrance but he was pleasant as could be. The food was average but the views...there are no words. Go see for yourself. You won't be sorry.
Our first time eating here and it was an awesome experience. Thomas was the best server ever and gave us great recommendations. Brisket was amazing and the fried apple pie was to die for. Will definitely be coming back soon.
We were highly disappointed and dissatisfied with the restaurant and the unprofessional rude cook who came to our table. Another couple at the restaurant even stopped us and asked us what the issue was because they overheard the cook and couldn’t believe he talked to customers that way and said they had just talked to the “fill in” male manager about their food as well.
