We needed a lot of sand last minute and other places were giving us 2-3 week time frames. McCarty was quick to help! We got same day delivery and the delivery man couldn’t have been nicer. He came right on time and put it exactly where we asked. Great customer service and pricing! We’ll definitely use them from now on.
Purchased the “Planter’s Mix” and it is very hard, full of clay, silt, clods. I triple checked and asked twice that this is what I needed to fill raised garden beds.Unfortunately, I found out too late and already filled beds and pots with the soil. It dries quickly, does not hold any moisture, and seems very dull. You will need heavy amending if purchasing and using for anything other than fill. I can't recommend the compost unfortunately. Customer service and delivery was good, but the quality of the product is not great. I have used a lot of compost over the years, and the amount of clods of clay in this compost is not indicative of a finished and well-screened material.
I have to vent........ I was needing some gravel to fill my parking area on Parkway. I placed the order at 9:50 am this morning and they had the audacity to deliver it during Price is Right, a little over an hour later. I love my Price is Right and I am truly being sarcastic with my complaint I ordered at 9:50 am and it was here by 11:15 am Kudos and a Big Shout Out to McCarty Mulch and Stone.... you guys Rock( no pun intended) Who can say they ordered bulk anything and have it delivered in less than 2 hours.
