The shop and staff has taken advantage of my mother and service on her vehicle. They will not return phone calls and are doing bad business.

Several issues with this Hyundai. This applies only to the service center. I don't have any information on the dealership part. 1. When my oil was changed I got a long list of things that were recommended. Cabin air filter, tires, alignment, the list goes on. When I came back to get my new tires, everyone who was waiting got almost the same diagnoses and recommendations. Same list that I got, exceeding $500 minus tax. Kind of shady. 2. The service department was awesome when I had to take my car in for service. I have a newborn and knew I couldn't wait there while my car was being serviced. I let then know this when I called to schedule the service and they had a loaner vehicle ready for me without issue. Other Hyundai dealerships in the area told me they couldn't provide a loaner vehicle. So, I was happy this location could accommodate their customers. The staff was very friendly as well. Great location.

Fantastic experience with Kim, however Ray Charles could have done a better job detailing my car. I'm absolutely stunned that someone would think a customer would be okay with them missing obvious things...

I initially stated talking to Michael Ball on the internet chat. After our conversation on there I talked to Kim. I told them what it would take for me to get into a car and they did everything they could to get me there! The were very sincere in their attempts to put me in a car to fit my needs! Kim Warner was very knowledgeable of the cars. He was very through in making sure I knew what I needed to know about it. I DONT KNOW ABOUT ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS PURCHASED FROM THEM, BUT I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH MCCARTHY HYUNDAI OLATHE AGAIN. I LEASED A CAR FROM THEM A YEAR AND A HALF AGO AND IT HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. They rip off the customers by suggesting and performing services that are not needed. I have the documentation. They claimed that my gas was contaminated. NO one else that purchased gas where I did had a problem. They would not prove it to me. They claimed they pulled the gas tank and drained it. And then reinstalled it. The bolts have not been undone. And if they had the tank out, and if it had bad gas, why not replace the fuel filter? Do they do the same to you? I am a qualified mechanic and you are not. If they pull it ag... read more
