I was in horrible condition when I first seen Dr McCarthy..she explained to me what was wrong and what she recommended..of course I had done my homework and knew she was a great surgeon before I seen her so we got my surgery done as soon as possible.. she got rid of so much pain for me..she is a wonderful surgeon and very caring doctor. I would highly recommend anyone to go to her, you won’t find a better surgeon or caring doctor..
One the best Doctors I have ever seen! She spent a lot of with me and helped make the right decision about my back surgery!
My experience with Dr. McCarthy was very positive. She spent time answering questions but did not pressure me to commit to surgery. Once I did, the experience with her and her staff was also positive. I am very pleased with my outcome and encourage others to visit with her about your issues.
Answers all of your questions in simple easy to understand way. Does not sugar coat it at all. Yery truthful about the procedure and the outcome of it. She cares about you a patient and your family. I would highly recommend her for your back problems.
This was my first visit with dr. McCarthy and I was very satisfied with her professionalism, I will be looking forward to meeting with her again any other issues I have with my orthopedic health problems.

Dr Kate McCartney is an outstanding physician. She answered all of my questions in detail where I could understand. Due to my multifaceted issues, she asked permission to pull in other specialists at OrthoArkansas to assist her in my care. Overall, my visit was by far the best physician appointment that I have ever experienced.
She is professional, friendly, caring, compassionate and an excellent spine surgeon. I could not speak more highly of Dr. McCarthy. She explains everything in clear terms and takes time to listen and answer questions and concerns.
I had a spinal lumbar fusion. Remarkable. I was walking a mile 2 days after. Each week I added a mile up to 6, bedside manner could not be better. Very careful to take time and answer every question with very thorough answers. Highly, highly recommend!
