Food's pretty good, but to echo other reviews, the floor is filthy and so are all the tables. There's a definite reason this place is empty at dinner.
Long wait, incompetent staff, mediocre and overpriced food
I became a big fan of McAlister’s when they started in Oxford, MS. I’ve been going to this Cool Springs location since it first opened. Today all three of our entrees were sub-par. It was the worst I’ve had at any of their locations. I was going to go to the Brentwood location, but found out it has closed. Today, the Cool Springs restaurant was dirty with trash on the floor. The temperature inside was uncomfortable, so we got our food to go.
6/10/27. We placed a to go order on line. Mine was a chef salad. There was hardly anything in it but greens. No egg, very little meat, tiny pieces of tomato, a small amount of cheese. It was not worth the price. Will not order again.
