I as well as several family members have been treated by Dr. Luterman in P.C. & Welland emerg. each time with good results. Most recently my 91 yr. old mother fell and wounded her head severely. Dr. L. beautifully and carefully stitched her wound, immediately ordered a CT scan and x-rays and gave me the results very promptly. Very rude and demeaning. I went in for a bladder infection which I have had experienced a few times before. My symptoms were terrible pain when urinating, constantly having an urge to urinate and very visible blood in my urine from mid to end stream. He told me I needed to have a pap. I questioned him and said he had the wrong hole. He argued that there is no way I would be able to decipher which "hole" the blood came from. I had bad chest conjestion he checked Me then sent for chest X=ray and blood work I had to wait awhile but he came back to tell everything was ok I had to get a perscription filled I found him very nice to my wife and me sometimes days are very busy and short staffed.Not all days are the same if i had to go to him agian I would.

The people who gave this guy more than one star must be thinking of somebody else. I wish there was a way to give negative stars on this site, Dr Luterman would be about -5 stars. Arrogant, selfish, inconsiderate, rude, cold... Dont waste your time. There is a reason he works in Wally World

I was so angry after the dis-respectful treatment received by this physician at Douglas Memorial that I honestly went home ready to sell my house and move away from Fort Erie. I have never encountered such poor treatment (on every level) before in my life.

I took my daughter to the fort erie er when she had a very high fever for quite a few days and she had benn complaining of a sore tummy (shes 4) he told us she had a virus and o go home. a few days later my family doctor called and sais she had a bladder infection and the doc said he had given her med. he did not give her nething NOR did he tell me what was really wrong with my lil girl. So obviously her infection got worse but thank gosh to my caring family doctor wayda she was taken care of.

I have lived in Welland for nearly all of my adult life (over two decades) and am lucky enough to have my own permanent GP. I was unlucky to have to see this so called “Dr” and I use the term very loosely. He is one of the rudest, and most arrogant human beings (if he can be called that) that I have had the displeasure of meting. On top of this he is ignorant. I had full blown MRSA, I couldnt barely walk, or sit, or even lay down, when I seen him I told him I didnt want more antibiotics to which he said he was the doctor and knew best, I PLEADED with him to take a sample of the "ooze" to which he told me he knew best, I had been dealing with the MRSA for 7 months at this point and KNEW is wasnt just a skin infection. After almost 6 years with an injury and trying almost everything, Dr. Luterman finally gave me something to help the pain. Thank you for Dr. Luterman. And yes, I saw him at the E.R. You don't know what goes on behind the scenes at places like that.
