Always love Maymont. Have been many times. Went with two of my nieces Tuesday and they loved it despite the heat. Plan to bring them back when it's cooler so they can see the water features looking better and the animals more active.
This a very cool place to see in Richmond ! We loved it , from the Japanese Garden Italian Garden the waterfall the eagle bear all kinds of animals , beautiful place
It is very pretty and the animals are neat. Really enjoyed it.
The grounds were very pretty. Parking wasn't too bad. The roads around it can be a touch confusing if you're not from the area. My gripe is that the mansion tours and wildlife center are not open on Monday. You can still walk around the premises and explore the gardens but that's about it.
Nice place with something for virtually anyone and any interests. But they need to bring back the shuttle......PLEASE.
My fiancé and I had our first date there! And we've gone there for her anniversary of our first date (: And he also proposed to me there! So I guess you could say I love this place! It means the world to me (:
My girlfriend and I absolutely love this place! Perfect spot to enjoy a picnic and admire the beautiful scenery Maymont provides.
