I thoroughly enjoyed the mansion tour and the grounds/gardens were beautiful! Unfortunately, it was so hot yesterday that we cut our garden visit short. I can't wait to return!

I'm also so happy to go to maymont and we were really lucky there was a lot of available parking especially for the day before 4th of July. I thought it would be more crowded, but at 90 degrees in humid VA most people were probably inside and not in the heat. We went to see the animals, my only complaint, you put 50 cents in for feed to give the animals and it barely gives you 10 pellets of food, they have updated the stalls for the animals (which everything looks very nice and there were lots of fans for the animals) so may... read more
