Out of business now. We had a bad experience with our first visit under it's new management and new name. There was hardly anyone there, but our food took so long that we finally just left and told them to cancel our order. WAY overpriced! But, it's still a nicely refurbished older building.

Food is not good. Been several times won't return.
Maxxwell's was awesome! It was awesome everytime I went...very good food, good service, gorgeous decor, laid back atmosphere, fairly quick service, and $5 burgers and fries on Sunday. I hadn't gone in a while and was in the neighborhood, so decided to have lunch there. When I went in, the beautiful decor was gone!!! It's now a deli with all new name (I forget what, maybe Mary's Deli), new atmosphere... new everything. I was SO disappointed.
