So, I really loved the way how Maxwell Mansion looks and what kind of experience they offer. Truly boutique hotel with a touch of luxury. However to my disappointment I’ve learned that they don’t accommodate toddlers/kids. But it’s not just that- I’ve learned this from the website hotel policy. Planned a wedding here for my son and his fiance for May 2020. Gave $1000 deposit but did not sign any contract. Covid 19 happened and they could not do the wedding we planned there, so the new coordinator (the first one we dealt with quit and no one bothered to let us know until we sought out someone for answers during the pandemic) suggested we move it to September. RecommendedAtmosphere was romantic, semi secluded areas, good service, nice shaded seating areas, in Lake Geneva but not the hustle and bustle of downtown, and Kim showed us one of their unique guest rooms with such names as Jane Austin, Louisa May Alcott.
