Bad Service in my opinion...I might as well been invisible – I went here very excited after all the good reviews....and was highly disappointed. great dog store – This is in response to the not so great review posted recently. I love this store! The "dark haired girl behind the counter", as one reviewer calls her, who does have a name-Gillian- and I have a terrific rapport and she was most helpful with my recent purchases, as well as being interested in my saga of acquiring a new dog soon. love maxwell – I shop for my dog a lot and this store has great stuff especially the dog beds. I have a few Jax and Bones beds and the selection here is abundant! i even ordered a special one which they did not have their. the staff was nice too! would definitely come back! great stuff!!!!
Not that special – I went there and was really excitied and it tottaly let me down..The idea of the store is nice but they practically have no toys or unique chic gifts.Nothing really unique and not alot to choose from.
Poor Customer Service – Regarding customer service at Maxwell Dog, it's my opinion that ever since they moved to their larger facility, the hired sales personnel are terrible. Yes, they are friendly when you come in with your dog. However, when you have questions about items which are not priced, they never seem to have the answer or knowledge about the product. Love Maxwell Dog – It was such a pleasure shopoping at Maxwell Dog. I have never seen so much cute dog product in one store, they have the best selection I have ever seen of collars, leads, beds, toys, apparel, bags and yummie and clever treats for my dog. I plan on shopping at the store all the time. The sales staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and they encourage you to bring your dog when you come to visit.
Maxwell Dog... a Necessary Experience – I'm not even a dog owner, but my work atmosphere is flooded with them. I find myself visiting the store on behalf of my furry co-workers and every experience at Maxwell Dog is delightful. Maxwell Dog is the best! – No doubt about it, we love Maxwell Dog! I have been to pretty much every dog boutique in the Los Angeles area but nothing beats Maxwell Dog. Every time we go, my dog gets so excited because they are so happy to see him. They love dogs and it shows, plus there is none of that lame, pretentious attitude I have experienced at other boutiques. Attitude in the Valley – Though the selection of yummy things for your doggie (and the do they have on hand to greet you) to eat, play and sleep on is impressive, the attitude of the relatively new store is not. They started out super-friendly with an emphasis on superlative customer service, but have eased off, I guess as their popularity grew. On my last visit, the store clerk didn't even know what a Chuck It! was.
