We specialize in Southern layer cakes.....true scratch recipes. We use fresh , local ingredients and offer a large selection of cake flavors each day. You can come in and purchase cakes by the slice, cupcakes right out of our case, frozen yogurt and ice cream.....or just sit in and relax with a cup of coffee. We can design custom cakes for showers, birthdays, weddings, anniversarys or celebrations. If you need a last minute cake for a get together, we have that too!

Visited Maxie B's for the first time today. After searching for a nice bakery to make my college graduation cake for weeks I finally found the perfect spot! I was beyond impressed after seeing that the line was out the door even on a rainy day! The employees went above and beyond to help me choose from all their amazing options! Abby, spent two hours with me, picking decorations, flavors, & tasting the delicious cakes! I am so looking forward to having a elegant cake for my party! I highly recommend!

A friend told me when I visited Greensboro to make sure to stop at Maxie B. I am so glad I did. My husband, myself and our kids all got something different and no one was disappointed! Best cookies and cakes I have had in a very long time!
Went to Maxie B's for Grandma's Birthday! I had the Italian Cream Cake and then I tried Aunt Linda's Fresh Apple Cake w/Cinnamon Cream Cheese Icing! Amazing! You can make 2 MEALS off one slice! delicious!

The staff is really nice. Everything is very pretty. The icing was really good, but the cake is dry in comparison to other cakes I've had. It's decent but not the best.
