$57 for a 20 minute Pedicure! – I was really disappointed that I paid $57 + tip for a 20 minute pedicure and you don't even get to keep the nail polish. It was the MAX Signature Pedicure, not an express pedicure. The staff was pleasant but it felt rushed. If I would've known that this was going to be my experience I would have never paid that much for this service. SOOOOO disappointed!
Worst haircut of my life – I got the worse haircut of my life, I am still tramatized by the horrific bangs that the stylist cut on me. I had to go to another salon to have it fixed and that didn't fix the horrible bangs. I can't belive I didn't stop him from destroying my hair. Beware. It will take me months to look normal again.
Amazing Experience – I had a wonderful experience. The stylist is new to the salon but not to the profession. He has been a stylist and a salon owner for a number of years. He is a wonderful addition to the salon. He took his time understanding what it was I wanted. I will be going back to him.
Gives great advice – I have been in there to two different stylists for color. The first color I didn't ask for anyone in particular and I wasn't super happy with how the hair turned out. I decided to give them another try and really told the receptionist what I wanted and she placed me with the perfect stylist. Its the best color/cut I've ever gotten. Great Salon/Spa for everyone – I started going to Max about 8 months ago and I am always Happy when I leave. The customer service at the front desk is very welcoming and they are very friendly and professional. I have seen 2 different stylists and I have been very pleased with both, they were very talented and very well educated. Great experience! – Everytime I come to the salon I am warmly greeted, offered a beverage, and they hang my coat for me. It's a comfortable atmosphere unlike all those other catty salons. I've seen a few of the stylists there and everytime I leave my hair is PERFECT!! I feel like they actually LISTEN to me! It's so relaxing back in their spa as well. I've had the best massages, facials, and pedicures there. I would recommend Max Salon to anyone who wants a relaxing experience and to look and feel fabulous.
Good Service – My biggest problem with getting my hair done is feeling like the stylist hears what I am asking for. I have had my hair cut and colored by two different stylists here and have been very pleased with the way they listened to me and gave me exactly the hair cut I asked for. great customer service – I continually have a wonderful experience at Max Salon and Spa. The staff there are so friendly. I am always greeted warmly by the desk staff and my stylist listens to my suggestions with interest. I would highly recommend this salon for all of your hair and spa needs!
poor customer focus – I just recently got a haircut by an new employee who had been transferred from a previous Aveda studio. I told him I wanted my haircut the same style it currently is just shorter. I even went so far as to say in which manner I did and did not want him to cut it. After 45 minutes of having to sit through a stylist who had no conversation skills, smelled terribly of cigarette smoke, and who yanked my hair every which way, he turned me to face the mirror and I was quite shocked by what I saw.
