I LOVE MAVRIS! I cannot recommend this venue and their staff enough! Especially Megan Mattingly! She was the true all-star of our wedding, she came in late to the game bc our other planner was pregnant and decided to take a step back from work. I can’t recommend the Mavris enough! Our guests had an amazing time at our wedding and so many people have complimented their team. They are all incredibly professional and hospitable. We worked with Olivia for about a year and we were constantly impressed. She is so good at her job and has a wonderful personality! I really wish I could recommend Mavris Arts & Event Center, as the location is beautiful, and checked all the boxes my best friends were looking for as they searched for their dream wedding venue. However, the owners have used these unprecedented Covid times as an excuse to price-gouge and strong arm couples for their own greedy gains. They posture that they are "doing everything they can" for the safety of guests and clientele, while in reality are using every loophole to force unsafe gatherings for their own profit. The fact that this venue is trying to profit by forcing a young couple to hold their wedding during the coronavirus pandemic by making them forfeit their $20,000 deposit or pay an $8,000 rescheduling fee is ridiculous. There is an Indy Star article about it. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

For a venue that clearly likes to signal its virtuousness by pointing out that people are wearing masks in their photos, it's odd that they don't seem to place much value on being ethical and evidently are more concerned about preserving their bottom line than having integrity and a sense of caring for the community around them. Mavris Arts & Event Center was the most perfect venue for our wedding day! From the moment we walked into the space, we knew we had to have our wedding here. Everything from the venue spaces, outdoor areas, amazing staff (S/O Maddie!!), food, and planning process was perfect. 1000/10 recommend Mavris!
