I usually go to the Mavis in Islandia, which is excellent, but I needed to get an inspection done on my lunch hour and this was the closest location. NEVER AGAIN. Lesson learned, I assumed that I would get the same quality service I was use to at Islandia, but that was certainly not the case. I purposely made a reservation online to insure that I could get it done on my lunch. Scammers – Mavis in Massapequa on Sunrise Hwy Are scam artists. The manager John should be fired. I bought tires there with warranty coverage on them. John the manager sold me a few months back. Got a nail in one and could not be repaired. Went in there to have it replaced so they said leave it because they wanted to see if they could plug it. Took them 4 days to get tire when it usually is next day, 4 days go by and finally I can come get it. I Go in there have to wait for them to mount it on the rim when I assumed it had a... read more

Horrible Shop – I am disgusted by the service I just received at the Mavis in Commack, NY. I brought my car in for two rear tires. They said it would be about an hour. I went to across the street for lunch and came back and they had my car up on the lift with the front and rear tires off and the hood open trying to up sell me everything from brakes to alignment. Then I had to wait while they put it all back together. There is no reason to take the front wheels off to change the two rear tires. I will never do business with M... read more

STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE..... – Steer clear of this place, unless you want to be separated from your money. I recently went in for 1 tire and they talked me into a new set of 4 Kelly's, on which they were having a sale. I figured it was safer to have 4 new shoes and I'd be set for a few years. That's where it started. 30 minutes later they told me I needed shocks all around and they could get me out the door for around $1,100 total.
