I went in on Friday to have my tire pressure sensor replaced. They told me they replaced it but the light was still on because the sensor in the spare tire was bad. I went and had someone else check it and they told me the spare doesn't have a sensor which is what I thought the whole time. The next day the same tire they worked on was flat. My husband puts the spare one and takes it back. Now they say they can't repair the tire that I need a new one. So we get a new tire and they reset everything and the light is off. Mavis Tire in Albany...Beware when you go there. I made an online appointment to have new tires installed for a total price of 492+ tax Because there was a an install special online. When I get to the store they tell me they will not honor that and it will actually be $570 plus tax. When I said no and went out to my car, I called the 800 customer service. Poor customer service! I called and ordered a set of tires a week ago and scheduled an appointment today. I called them yesterday to ask if I can bring the car in since I have time but they said they do not have vacant slot. They accomodated me this morning, checked my car in and I waited at the lobby for an hour. Then one of their employees came to tell my that the tires that I ordered were not delivered! terrible service, guys dont know what they are doing and dont follow follow directions! last time we go there!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Called on Monday to make an appointment for new tires on Saturday. Was told we would be first in line. My husband took the car at 9 am and it wasn’t pulled back into the garage until 11:30. It is now 2 pm and they still aren’t finished with a simple tire replacement! Every time my husband has asked for an update, they keep telling him they are checking everything out, including fluids and stuff, which we did not ask for!! This place is a joke and so are their appointment times.
The staff is polite. Good service.
Had a quote on tires yesterday, came in next day before opening, told clerk my name... Uh I have nothing in your name......... only thing proven here is that we all don’t look alike. This was the same person I talked to the previous day. Definitely won’t get any of my business.
