Mavericks Gym is only in it for the money I had fraud activity on my bank account, Mavericks finance company which is ABC finance was very rude charged over 50.00 for a 25.00 membership.I called to cancel . . . it's not to easy. I was told to write a ltr. have it certified and mail it to . . . .? I offered to come in with I.d. , I was told NO. What kind of gym is this? Easy to sign on . . .not so easy to cancel. There is alot more to report, but I am running out of space. Som of their policies "SUCK".
Mavericks Gym is garbage It's David Hill..arrogant bastard. He's completely 2 faced, tell you one thing then turn around and stab you in the back, and tell you something else. perhaps bipolar? No respect-unprofessional and immature Do you know what it's like to not be able to enjoy your own home anymore? To hear loud music almost 24/7, can't sleep, talk or listen to the TV without hearing you?! If you did, I guarantee you wouldn't like it or appreciate it. It's obvious you don't respect us...just to keep it down in the early morning hours would satisfy me. ZERO stars for Rude, Unprofessional Cust. Service The Mavericks gym on Telegraph Rd has rude unprofessional sale staff. Unimpressive. Terrible uppity attitudes. POOR customer service. False 'free week' advertising. Check ANOTHER gym out first.
Don't Bother! Unfortunately Maverick's is run by a rude and egotistical individual who goes by "DY" (I believe his real name is David Young) who acts like a 4th grade bully in a school yard! While most of the rest of the staff is pleasant enough, "DY" preens and struts around "His Gym" (as he refers to it). ??DY? is inappropriately intimidating, has been known to resort to loud confrontation, and appears to be immature and incapable of communicating on anything close to an adult level - including publically ridiculing member... read more
Best Classes I've been taking classes at Mavericks gym for over 4 years, They have the best classes in the county. The staff at Mavericks have always been warm and friendly! If you want a gym where you feel like family, this is the gym for you!
Liers When I signed up, they didn't tell me it was a 12 month agreement. When I tried to cancel for a number of different reason: parking, classed schedule, price, and equipment availability, they said I would have to pay $150. I would never sign up for it, if I knew that this would be the case. So make sure you read your contract before you sign it. Way to go Mavericks. Nice customer service. It's not a sports club, it's an a-holes club!
Very Dissapointed I had gotten my daughter a GC for a personal trainer at this gym for her birthday. Well she kept cancelling appointments and when she was training my daughter she was not watching her to make sure she was doing things properly, she was looking all over the gym. I was very disappointed with this and feel it was very unprofessional of anyone to do this, not to mention the liability. My daughter went 2 times and then enough was enough. SUCKS! I wasn't impressed with this gym. They are very unprofessional. The women trainers look like porn stars. I did not feel like they knew what they were doing. I felt this gym was selling sex instead of fitness!!! Not happy at all.
