Do not go see this provider she treated my mother for a year and the whole family kept thinking she is getting worse.. Switched providers and WOW with new provider pulling her off all crap this woman put her on she can sit still have a conversation and never cries anymore.
The business side of Conway's office, which she is responsible for as a sole practitioner, is so error prone, unprofessional, and lacking in accountability so consistently and to such a degree that commenting on Conway's medical service itself is unnecessary. Based on my experience, comments here and elsewhere on the internet, and comments previously viewed that are now deleted from the interne- this health care professional has very very serious issues.
Terrible person , if your 7-minutes late she charges you $100.00, even though you have 8- min. left on your 15-min. appt.I,m not going back, good luck
First of all, Maureen Conway is not a doctor. She is a nurse practitioner. I had been seeing her for 3 years now. I have missed 1 appointment in the past and had no complaints about her $100 missed appointment fee because it was my fault. I just forgot about it. However, this second missed appt was due to a severe migraine which she knows that I am prone to. I called at 4:00 am to inform her of my migraine. After a night spent in the Emergency Room caused by a side effect of a medication that Maureen Conway prescribed, me and my husband were 8 minutes late for one of her famous 15 minute appointments. Mu husband had to get in touch with his boss and arrange time off from work. Maureen Conway refused to see us, because we were "late" and left me crying in front of the door. Three days later I received a $100 charge for being "more than 7 minutes late" for my appointment. We are appalled by her rude and inhume behavior!
I have seen Dr. conway for a few months and I have had nothing but positive experience. Not sure if it is because I am also seeing a therapist and I understand the direction of my issues? She is extremly helpful and knowledgable and I appreciate that. I feel like i am in good hands and I feel she listens and understands. Dr. Maureen Conway is taking me and my family to small claims court/collections today for a $100.00 cancelation fee that we already paid for. My daughter was too sick to make the appointment and missed it. We called in 23 hours ahead of time but their policy was 24 hours to cancel. We got the bill, yes we were upset but we paid it on time and now Dr. Conway's collection company is taking us to small claims court. This was the only appointment out of many that we missed. Maureen has been treating me for two and a half years, and I've never had a bad experience with her. She's always been very patient, and makes sure all of my questions are answered. I never feel that she's disinterested or trying to rush me out the door. She's also been very kind about helping me reduce the cost of my medications. I highly recommend her!
She has been a great resource for me, for many years, making sure my meds were appropriate and working for me, changing them as needed, and always kind. She could be found disinterested I think if you didn't know her. Her manner is quite introverted and I think she struggles to get extroverted enough to make a connection.
