I agree with every negative comment about Maureen and especially her staff (Saralynn). Meetings with Maureen are brief to the point of being dangerous. How can you prescribe medications that affect one's life dramatically without knowing more about a person. She's not a good listener and she doesn't make eye contact most of the time. I don't even have the right words to describe how horrible my experience with Saralynn, the receptionist, has been. *I know it’s really long for a review, but please just give it a look* Okay so I have never written a negative review online, even if I have had terrible experiences somewhere. I have been seeing her for over a year now and she has been awesome in treating my Depression and anxiety.. She is very knowledgeable on her meds and what works and if it doesn't she will try another.. She is wonderful!! I highly recommend her
Very excellent!!!! Top notch !!!! I was going to different Psychiatrists for a number of years. I had 2 anxiety attacks.... I could not even work during those episodes. After the 2nd panic attack ( I even went to the emergency room). 2 days later, I saw Maureen Conway. Right away she fixed me up with the right medications. Worst experience I've ever had with a what I thought was a doctor. Her staff took my $257.00 co-pay for an evaluation that lasted no more than 20 minutes. In that 20 minutes I was diagnosed as bipolar and put on some sample meds. She must of forgotten or neglected to know that the sample she gave me was extremely dangerous as I am Diabetic. She then told me she would refill current meds but rescinded after,or before, she cancelled on me on my next appointment. She has power control issues. She thinks she knows someone after 12 minutes of looking at her computer.
I wouldn't recommend her to anyone! Her staff is ignorant. Maureen was late for my appointment, and I had to wait outside. I had a bad reaction to a medicine that she subscribed and while she wasn't in the office she had her reception is tell me it was normal. I was miserable for five days! Next time I saw her she was then concerned about my reaction, but it was too late then. I was also having panic attacks and I called to get some help. She never called back, even after several attempts. Unbelievable!!!!
I've been seeing Maureen for 4+ years. I feel that she is competent and very careful with any habit forming drugs. In fact I've felt a little "under suspicion" at times. It's probably just me. I appreciate that she seems willing to try something else if a medication doesn't work or stops working. I've had a similar experience as other reviewers with the missed appointment fee. She experimented with new drugs on me over the course of 7 years and got my body addicted to a benzodiazepine .. This woman needs her license taken away. The last drug she gave me, Fetizma, led to serotonin syndrome .. Since then I have been sick for months and she stopped taking care of my mental health needs..DO NOT see this doctor if you value your life!
