I met with Maureen for many months. Our goal was to treat my anxiety and depression related to a chronic illness. I followed all her recommendations until she prescribed a non-FDA approved medication. When I questioned her, she stated that I was screaming (I was not), and demanded that I leave and she discontinued me as her client. She called security while I was sitting. Do NOT recommend.
Front desk staff very friendly, responds quickly to phone messages and always has a smile when i go in. Easy to get in with Maureen on a last minute. Maureen is great and would recommend her to everyone.
It caused me more stress than help and I'm glad that I stopped going doing on my own.
After 3 years and putting up with her rude office. The final straw I called for 3 days straight to get in. At 6pm on the 4th day I get a call back. They have time Friday at 2pm ... great. Well things happen and I called in the morning to cancel because it wasn't 24 hours prior I was charged 100.00. How can I cancel 24hours prior when the appointment wasn't even 24 hours. I'm now in collections and I will not pay this. In the past I have paid the 100 cause it was my fault.
Such a waste of time going to Dr, Maureen Conway. The staff is rude, I am literally in Maureen's office for maybe 5 min. No eye contact, then given a hand written prescription or samples and I'm out the door within 10-15 min and charged $250 for the session. I had gone to her for over a year...come to find out, my husband was going over our finances and realized she was double dipping....she was charging my credit card for the session as well as billing my insurance the same amount. Her receptionist is so rude that I wouldn't even bother trying. Incredibly unprofessional, and just trying to sell people on expensive genetic testing, not actual care.
We have been seeing Maureen for some time. We have missed 2 appointments. Both times charged 100.00. This time my ex was supposed to get the bill. Instead she charged my debit card not only the 100.00 she was supposed to bill my ex husband but charged me the entire 150.00 for the visit without billing my insurance. $249.00 later. I found out because I needed a relative to take her to her appointment and he brought me back the receipt. I couldn't believe it.
1. Horrible office staff who never follow through. 2. Maureen only spends 5 minutes with you even on first visit. Cannot understand how a practitioner can assess a patient in such a short time. 3. Does not listen to you or even pretend to listen. 4. Late/cancellation policy is ridiculous 5. Did I mention her horrible lazy staff who don't follow through? I have never had this bad of an experience with any doctor or practitioner.
Beware of insurance fraud and illegal financial activity!! Horrible staff!!
