Dr. McGrane has been my gyno for almost 20 years. She’s upfront and very grounded, always making sure to keep me from panicking and makes time for an “emergency” (imagined or no). I can’t recommend her enough.
Dr. McGrane is one of the best doctors ever! She listens, explains and cares. I wish she could be my primary care doctor! I come up from FL, where I now live, to see her for annuals - that tells a lot a bout my confidence and trust in her!
I really appreciate Dr. McGrane's candidness. Something I always appreciate in health professionals is their ability to speak to me as a peer rather than an authority figure. My big issue with her is that she commented on my body multiple times. She once pointed out my lower stomach stretch marks and told me I was young enough to get rid of them if a lost weight. Dr McGrane is a warm caring doctor who has always taken the time to explain and help me understand my concerns. I wish she could be my primary care doctor for all my ailments.
I have been seeing Dr. McGrane for many years and she is always incredible. She goes above and beyond to make her patients feel comfortable and informed. I've recommended her to so many people and will continue doing so.
My experience with Dr McGrane has been very positive. She is not only a doctor but also a teacher. I always leave her office with a better understanding of what is going on and better ways to help my body. She takes time during each visit and I always feel that I am important enough for her to take her time. I learn so much at each visit and actually look forward to my appointment.
If you are looking for a physician who takes the time to really listen then look no further. I am impressed with her care and personal attention. She explains her opinions and makes sure your questions are answered. I truly feel her care is exceptional.
Dr Maura McGrane is a professional, thorough, kind and caring physician, skilled in all women’s issues. She takes the time to answer all my questions, allay any fears regarding problems and explain issues in a way that’s understandable. She educates me on my health issues and offers sound medical advice. I only wish I had her as a doctor when I was pregnant years ago and later when I was trying to have another child. I truly think my outcome would have been more positive with Dr McGrane.
Commented on my appearance and didn't seem to believe me when I said my primary does my pelvics manually as I have a problem with the speculums. She did no actual exam or blood work and wanted to perform a hysteroscopy w/ d&c and treat me with menopause-inducing drugs to curtail dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Got a second opinion and that doc said she would never use those medications for treating my issue and that a hysteroscopy with endometrial biopsy was less invasive. Avoid her.
