We're from Kauai and we take a couple "staycations" a year. Maui and specifically Kaanapali is our first choice when we need a close Island hop getaway. We just spent 9 days at The Whaler #701 / We've stayed at the Whaler for years and in many different condos. This unit has thus far been the best. We look forward to coming back and staying in #701 again. Maui Beachfront Rentals was a pleasure to book through. I highly recommend them for your next Maui vacation.
We completely enjoyed out stay of Napili Bay Resort, #205 from April 17 - May 1, 2018. Great bay view, wonderful beach, and close to so many attractions. We would stay there again and recommend it.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Kahana- suite 703 It was very clean, the kitchen had everything we needed to have most of our meals in, and we loved the balcony. It was so nice having the folding chairs and cooler to take to the beach with us, really appreciated them. The boogie board was a hit with my husband as well :) We would highly recommend this rental... more than met our expectations.
Maalaea Banyans #209 was a good location for us. We loved the complex and grounds. Our unit was found clean and cute as can be. It's a small unit and was great for a couple. It does have a sleeper and could sleep four, I but I would think it would be pretty tight. It has a small air conditioner in the window in the living space but found that the air doesn't reach the bedroom very well even with a fan blowing down the hallway. The Whaler #503 - our stay was fantastic. Loved the condo - was huge, comfortable and so clean and well stocked. The extra essentials in the kitchen were so much appreciated as were the starter sets of soap, washer liquid etc. The resort staff are lovely, friendly, helpful and the gym, pool and beach are fabulous. Can highly recommend. Only negative thing to say....because the condo is at the back end of the block you do get a bit of noise from the carpark/shopping centre truck deliveries etc if you like keeping the doo... read more
In truth, this maybe only a 4+, but couldn't give it just a 4. My only small gripe is that we stayed here several years ago, and all the furnishing were new, condition top notch. In the past few years it has worn down a bit and could use some TLC. Regardless, the location, views, and staff all deserve a 5. Very much enjoyed our stay, and will likely come here again.
Maalaea Banyans resort is the perfect central location! We stayed in Unit 310 and the view the minute we walked in set the tone for our stay! Beautiful ocean view, quiet and peaceful setting. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The a/c unit was for the living room, but the ceiling fan in the bedroom did more than enough to keep us comfortable. Our stay at Kaleialoha #308 was wonderful. The condo was very clean, updated and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very nice and was well stocked, including numerous spices. We appreciated the beach items: beach chairs, boogie board, umbrella and snorkel equipment. The view from the lanai was beautiful and we constantly saw numerous turtles just off the seawall. Updated with top end finishes with unparalleled views. Hard to think of any negatives. Highly recommend.
