always a great choice – Wonderful cuisine. A great place to unwind. Oyster bar is amazing. Drinks are served with a smile. No complaints, you will not be disappointed.
Great Food, Great Service & Great Happy Hour – This is simply the best restaurant in Redmond and one of the best on the Eastside. The food is excellent and consistent. Service is always friendly and attentive. The is no better happy hour on the Eastside!
Great food, great atmosphere, upscale, and friendly. – The burger is incredible. If you have the oysters, sit at the bar. Pizza is great. Ownership and management active and friendly. Lot of pride seems to be put into this restaurant.
Dinner & A movie – Family brunch was very fun, with lots of choices and good food borught to the table by a server who was great and patient with the kids. We went early for dinner and a movie but were disappointed with the Halibut , & Chips.Although the batter was good the halibut was mushy. Being able to order asperagus instead of the fries was a nice touch.
Great Food horrible service – The clams and oysters are surpurb, and the ambiance was good as well. It is a great place to go if they are not busy, and I don't recommend you take clients. I spent more time trying to get our servers attention, than the business at hand. With a table of 11 guests, I would think that we shouldn't have to ask for menus, tableware, and refills. The lack of eye contact made us all feel like she hated her job, how sad.
Excellent clams – The steamerclams in wine sauce are excellent here. I eat at Matt's alot because I work at Redmond Town Center and love the clams. I aggree that unless you are sitting at the bar the service can be slow. But the food makes up for it.
Can I get some water? – The food itself was mediocre, nothing special. The seafood chowder was very good, but everything else was not worth the $$$. Worst of all, the service was sub-par, and my group couldn't even get refills on water.
Best Eastside Happy Hour – I thought the new McCormick and Schmicks in Belle Square would take over this title, but I can't find a table in their bar! Matt's has been our happy hour mainstay. My husband and I always split three appetizers and each have about 1.5 drinks. We get stuffed for under $30. Appetizer portions are large and half-off during happy hour. Reserve the Wine Room – Having had numerous meetings called for at restaraunts, I finally found a place with great food, wonderful service, and a room large enough for ten people to meet, and small enough to be intimate. The best part is, you can hear each other!!!! Having held many meetings here, I am probably shooting myself in the foot by letting out my secret, but this place is just great. I have always found the service to be excellent, the food perfect, and the location can't be beat, for me anyway. Brix1
