RecommendedI can't say enough about this place! We leave here smiling every time from the level of quality and amazing, friendly service! I have tred several things I don't usually order and every one of them has impressed me... I don't usually eat veal, but last night I had tried the veal chop in an other-worldly cognac cream and green peppercorn sauce... It was to die for! The veal was tender and juicy and I wanted to take home a jar of that unbelievable peppercorn sauce... wow!!!

We had family up from Delaware and our family decided to bring them to Matt’s Red Rooster. Everything from the appetizers, dinner and deserts were amazing! And the service was even better! If you live in Hunterdon County, it is the place you have to go! And if you get Cindy as a waitress, your experience will be even better!

Matts Red Rooster is always amazing. Love the atmosphere, food is always superb. This time, the Crab Cake, Dry Aged Cowboy and Sesame Crusted Salmon were perfect. Can't wait to go back...
