love this place food and service has always been excellent
Worst Tex Mex we've had. The queso is literally melted Velveeta cheese. So waxy it wouldn't stick to the chip. No flavor at all. Everything was salty. The "chili con carne" is very tomatoey. Service in Lewisville was nice but not very good. I actually had to pull a bottle of water out of my purse to refill our glasses. Saw people standing at the door for 10+ minutes waiting to be seated when the restaurant was almost empty. Music was way too loud also.
Great service. Friendly staff. Very quick from ordering to the time the food was delivered.
Husband's truck got broken into tonight while dining. Management and staff left before police arrived! Poor customer service! 1.5 hours later @DallasPD has not arrived and @MattitosTexMex not making sure their customers are safe/taken care of!
I have been eating at Mattito's for 20 years. Every business has its bad days, but Mattito's has been in decline for years. Today was the WORST experience I have ever had there. Bob Armstrong queso showed up cold. Chips sat empty for 20 minutes so queso was awful by then. Drinks sat empty most of the time. Wait staff was indifferent at best. Sadly, I won't be back.
We started eating at Mattitos Irving a year ago and it was great. Slowly we started seeing a change in the quality and serving sizes became smaller. Drinks are expensive compared to other mex restaurants in same area. Obviously we don’t go as much as we did. But if you do decide to go ask for Rosy as your server.
Sunday brunch is legendary! Nice getting the coupons in the mail.
