I made an appointment for botox, I have previously been there and was treat with great service. But this occasion is different, I made the appointment for botox, when I got there they called my name like usual. I had a doctor attend me and I told him that I wanted the botox around my eyes. It was weird because two nurses came to see, and one of them was for pricing over the botox.. They took me to the actual doctor for the botox and she was very nice, I have no complaints about her. The guy is a ripoff. It doesn't look like the ritz for nothing. Computers always down. Unprofessional behavior. Not on time. Tries to sell stuff you don't need. Go someplace else. He is a salesman more than a dermatologist. Having to have a credit card on file is their way of hoping you have a no show so they can charge. Makes one feel more that they are wanting your money more than they care about your illness. Go to someone that is moderately concerned more about your care than your insurance and credit card.
SORRY – Please ,Please, do not post when you are mad and not feeling good ,as I did. They did take take of me and I have been treated the best. Explain your problems to them before you get upset. They are very helpful,caring doctors . I wish I could erase my previous post but I can't. I hope everyone understands what harm you can do when your upset & mad.Give a fair chance first.
Fantastic Experience & Great Care! – The care at Sunflower Dermatology has been phenomenal for my entire family and we are appreciative of Dr. Matthys' expert care and compassion. I have two children with mild skin and each has had his fair share of skin issues. Each case has been expertly solved over the years by Dr. Matthys and his staff. Aside from the positive results, we always feel welcome at the practice. I highly recommend Sunflower for its professionalism and the care my family has received- THANK YOU!!!
Great experience! – I had never been to the dermatologist before, but my husband urged me to go to check out some moles I had been worried about. Dr. Matthys was very friendly. He recommended I have one mole removed for biopsy- which I did not want to do because I was afraid it was going to hurt. Thankfully, he was gentle, and I didn't feel a thing! A few days later, they called to tell me I was fine. Great practice. Would recommend it to anyone.
One of the best! – Dr. Matthys has been my dermatologist for five years now and discovered my first melanoma. He and his staff were most professional, but also caring and compassionate during this difficult time for me. I see them regularly and feel more like family than a patient. Over the years I've had many friends ask me who my dermatologist is and I send them straight to Dr. Matthys at Sunflower. I always hear back that my friends have the same professional, caring experience I've come to expect from them.
Top Notch Dermatologist – I've gone to Dr. Matthys for several years now. Not only is he great with patients (and kids), he knows his stuff. And then some. He's effective, efficient and has suggested a lot of things in the way of treatments that I hadn't considered. All have been extremely beneficial to the care of my skin. I've seen excellent results. Keep a tight grip on your billfold! – First visit was fine, I understand them wanting the $25.00 co-pay right away. The problem is when I went back for the follow up visit for the test results after having a mole removed they wanted another $25.00 calling this a new office visit. This may legal but certainly not ethical. When I said I just want my test results without having to pay for an office visit they informed me I would be charged a $50.00 no show charge. Love the doctor, highly recommend – First and foremost, I absolutely love Dr. Matthys. My son and I have both seen him. He makes me feel very comfortable and confident in what he is doing and I have never felt like he was in a rush. My son has seen him several times for eczema and I had to have a mole removed from behind my ear. The procedure was scary, but he made me feel very at ease and it was over in no time.
