I've visited Matthews-Vu twice and both times had terrible experiences with Catherine Pinto and the lab upstairs. The first time, there was a misunderstanding about my need for topical cream for my eczema. The second time, there was a huge mistake with my lab work, and now I have to redo it. Their management system definitely needs a revisit. I'm going to do my blood work and look for a different PCP and medical center. I definitely won't be recommending them to others. I have been a patient of this firm for years and have held my tongue until now. this firm has disappointed me at just about every turn. For added context, I take a strictly monitored medication daily for my ADHD. every time I need a refill, I have to go into the office for a "medication follow-up". On the few occasions that I have needed a prior authorization, it has taken this multiple calls and emails throughout the patient portal to get it done. at one point, it took 3 weeks to get taken care of. I went to urgent care with breathing/ lung issues& amber?? Didnt listen& was negligent in prescribing some medicine/ it's 2:30 in morning& i can't breathe&am disappointed in the quality of diagnosis& response from an unqualified mathews-vu employee!!😣😣

If you want to call Matthews Vu and wait over an hour and still not talk to someone and if you want to send messages through the patient portal and never get a response, if you want to make an appt and the only appt available is months out…..then I recommend Matthews Vu.

Very bad service. I booked the appointment on Feb 17 to see doctor on March 7. Then I took off my work to come the clinic on March 7, the staffs said that my appointment was cancelled. I even did not get any notification that my appointment was cancelled.

I mainly have an issue with their "New Patient " fee. I've been brought my daughters to Pediatrics at California, Ohio etc., but I've never seen a "New Patient" fee until we visited Matthews-Vu medical group at Colorado Springs (E. Woodmen Rd). On 01/03/2018, I brought my two daughters there for annual physical checking, just some routine things such as weight, height, etc. But we were charged $400 "New Patient" fee, $200 for each child. This has been my ongoing concerns about this medical group. 1. Average wait time in office has been an hour to an hour and a half. Constant overbooking patients. 2. Trying to get a doctor to take your call or calling you back is very slim. You will deal with a nurse practitioner who will "relay" your medical concerns. Plus wait time while placing a call can take a half an hour as it goes directly to an automated system. 3. I am sad to write a bad review on Matthews-Vu Medical Group, but I had the unfortunate situation where I was charged very unfairly for their mistake. The receptionist first of all made an error with my health insurance causing it to delay, by inserting a wrong insurance ID#. I was never contacted because most likely the same receptionist made an error on my address, address. I found-out when she was confirming her address with me.
