Matt has been caring for me for years. Nothing but excellence, however measured.
He explained what he proposed to do, answered my questions, told me what to expect and what to watch out for. He even gave me his cell phone number and said to call if I had any questions or problems.
The Doctor and his staff were all top professionals . I am very sensitive to pain and was very well taken care of on my 5 visits.
His office staff are so disrespectful. The girl wouldn't come out to talk to me and made me stay in the hallway and yell thru the door I am hard of hearing. She refused to tell me if she would bill my insurance company. All she said was Medicare well I cannot risk that as I am on disability. I traveled an hour to get there only to be made to wait in the lobby for awhile past my appt time. Finally I gave up and said "I'm done" and called my ride to go home. I had Mohs surgery that was expertly and kindly done. Minimal scar after 10 stitches on my face. Highly recommend Dr. Zippoli.
I asked for a quote before I had my procedure & explained to them that I would be responsible for the amount because my insurance does not cover outpatient surgery until the deductible is met. I was give 2 quotes that ranged from $354-$398 (amount they would bill the insurance) & after the insurance discount my portion would be $270-$304. What they actually billed my insurance was $918 & my portion is over $500!!!! They told me the almost $600 difference is because I had 3 stitches!!! Saw Dr. Zipoli 2 weeks ago to excise a benign cyst. He was professional and personable. Took time to answer all my questions and give me detailed instructions. The stitches were taken out today. I can already tell that I will have only a very thin scar that will be noticeable by only me. Very different from a cyst I had removed—by another doctor— 3 years ago. There I have a noticeable scar, which I plan on having Dr. Zipoli fix in future.
