Guess don't need the business? – I wanted to have a private party with about 80 guests, so I called and was told to speak with Todd. Well after trying 4 times to get hold of Todd to discuss the party I gave up. Every time I called I was told they were too busy to talk with Todd and that he would call me back-he never did. I should have listened (and believed) the previous reviews (Toobusyforus) and not wasted my time. I guess in these poor economic times there are still places that don't need new business?
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME – Not worth the trouble. I had the task of setting up a small holiday party as I do every year. Matthews 1600 was on our list of possibilities. Well, I tried four times to make a reservation for a small private party and was told I had to speak to Todd. Well, Todd is never in and doesn't return his messages. Matthews 1600, too bad for you. The best parties around!!! – I attended my sister's wedding rehearsal dinner at Matthew's 1600 on July 19th and I must say that this place is AWESOME!!! We arrived a little bit early for our scheduled party time as the rehearsal didn't take as long as we thought. The hostess greated us cheerfully and made us feel comfortable from the start. Bad Buffet – My family and I went to Matthew's 1600 for dinner on Mother's Day. I will admit I made reservations last minute and that Matthews was the one local place to have a reservation still available. My mom enjoys eating breakfast there on Sundays so I decided to try it.
