Needed a fractured patella fixed and I don’t know what he did but it doesn’t look like a knee , all the bone is sticking out, and I that area feels like it is in a vice. Horrible
Dr. Klima left my humerus in a non-union state (as if I had two elbows) with an antibiotic spacer that adhered to and eroded through the skin, allowing a dermis bacteria to enter and give me osteomyelitis. Six surgeries later with another surgeon, and I can finally use my arm again. As a family member dubbed him the Bvtcher, I think I have to agree. His staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful to boot, mocking my injury and nicknaming me Iron Man.
Dr. Klima, successfully performed a total redo from a previous trauma surgeon’s surgery, and a non-union of spiral femur fracture. Thanks to Dr. Klima’s skilled surgery, I was able to walk again. I owe my life to him…not being able to walk would be more than I could handle being an active old person.
What I concluded is that if he did not perform the operation he does not have any incentive to help. Maybe it is a matter of money, maybe the legal complications or maybe the insurance issues. What I can say very clearly is that I did not feel I was helped. I had to go to three appointments with Dr. Klima to finally see him.
Dr Klima performed a redo on a previous unsuccessful surgery by a trauma surgeon in another state. My femur was so shattered. Most offered a little hope. Dr. Clymer is a miracle worker and thanks to him. I am back to golfing swimming walking, etc. all things that had been limited due to confinement in a wheelchair. This doctor is the best.
I saw Dr Klima in the trauma unit. I had a spiral tib fib fracture with an open wound Dr Klima saved me leg.
Dr K saved my life when my family was told I probably would not live through the night after a jet ski accident. He put my hip & pelvis back together.
Was lucky to get injured when he was on call. Could not have had a better bedside manner, and was very generous with his time. Thank you!
6 weeks post op and have not seen my surgeon. If you believe in this type of medicine, great. I don't. I believe a surgeon should care about you and your results. Be aware and be careful.

Hello Ms. Davies, our clinic was modified/closed for several weeks per the hospitals COVID policy and so most of the straight forward post operative visits are managed via televideo with one of our physician assistants. This has been a temporary change, and the hospital should let our clinic resume normal operations shortly. Requests to speak with the physician directly are always honored.
