He's a rockstar!
Dr. Jenkins is very professional. He did my Rotator cuff surgery 7 years ago and my right arm is completely pain free and very strong. I had robotic surgery. I listened to Dr. Jenkins and followed all the post-op instructions to a tee. He also told me avoid falling in the future as that is a typical way injuries in the shoulder occur. I appreciate the fact that he cared enough to set me on the path of total recovery.

Unprofessional, unable to set a clear path for treatment or set milestone check-ins. No recommended options - did not listen to results of other doctor of PT nor did he know what his PA had said. As the patient, I felt my pain was minimized. After ten years of escalating pain was casually treated like I should just live with it and try a stretch. Felt like a joke. Couldn't believe I wasted my time with him and can't believe I'll probably have to pay for a visit with so little value.

Dr. Jenkins is an incredible doctor. He not only genuinely cares about your injury, but he is also fascinated with elbows; he strives for perfection. I had a severe radial head fracture on my elbow two years ago with chances of permanent limited maneuverability, once fully healed. With tough rehabilitation and Dr. Jenkins expertise, I can say I am near perfect compared to the expected outcome. I will use Dr. Jenkins any time I cross a shoulder or elbow injury, hopefully not soon.
I would not recommend Matthew Jenkins MD to friends and family. He walked into the room 55 minutes late with no apology and pricing sheet in hand. It appeared he had already made his diagnosis and cost/charge before ever speaking with me. He began the conversation referencing the lab tests in my chart that my PCP had ordered and went on to explain how they could not be considered accurate for diagnosing. These tests had nothing to do with my right shoulder pain or the reason for my visit.
Dr Jenkins takes time to answer any/all questions, address any concerns, describes exactly what the concerned condition is and a treatment plan. I knew exactly what to expect from surgery and all possible results. He speaks with the patient in plain english and not to or at the patient. He had a easy, low key approach and is friendly. He is confident and very capable. I would go back to him and recommend him.
Very friendly and informative! Great office staff and the doctor was the best I have seen! Dr. Jenkins really listened and is treating the problem quickly!
