When I broke my right pinky and went to urgent care, they told me that it didn't look bad and I just need to rest it. But this particular break from the get-go felt bad, and I went to see Dr. Robon just in case few days after the accident. Boy am I glad I went to his office, because immediately I was told that a surgery was needed, and without it I'd be losing significant range of motion. So I was in surgery the next week (loved how quickly they were able to accommodate me) and Dr. Robon did a fantastic job realigning my fin... read more
We allow employees to bring their dogs to the office and my co-worker's corgi clipped my heel and tripped me. I injured my scaphoid bone in my left wrist (fracture or bone bruise). After urgent care thought there was a fracture, I went to see Dr. Robon. He examined the xray and told me he didn't think it was a fracture, but he told me it was clearly injured. He took the time to explain the bone structure and prepared me by telling me up front it is the slowest healing bone, since it doesn't have great blood flow. Since the t... read more
Did the extra bit to get it right.
I visited him for tennis elbow and he took his time to understand and diagnose the proper treatment. He worries for patients so he is conservative and caring with your medical needs.
Saw Dr. Robon for Carpel Tunnel and some other issues with my hand that will require surgery. He was very friendly and pleasant, extended a warm greeting as he introduced himself, then we got right to business. He reviewed the Xrays & Nerve test that was done by my other doctors that initiated the referral to him. He explained everything thoroughly, clearly & answered all my questions. I felt unrushed and cared for as a patient. He is very professional in manner and appearance, personable and caring. His overall demeanor ins... read more
Dr. Robon is incredibly knowledgeable and likeable.
Dr. Robon is incredibly knowledgeable and likeable. If you only have two hands, one of your most important tools...you had better find the best surgeon to trust. I was fortunate to find the best hand surgeon, probably in the country. That surgeon was Dr. Robon. Don't consider anyone else. I am a health care provider, myself, living in another State, and I refer to him, exclusively, for hand concerns.
Dr. Robon is a phenomenal surgeon and cares deeply in getting the very best result for his patients. I have had four surgeries in the past 2 years as part of the plan he and I made together to replace four osteoarthritic joints in my hands. The other best testimonial is the faith and respect the hand therapists at Proliance all have in him. Top notch!
Dr. Robon did surgery on both of my wrists for carpal tunnel. He is very informative about the procedure before, during and after. I am now 8 months pain free. The pain was excruciating before the surgery and kept me awake every night. I haven't regretted the surgery at all. The relief was well worth it. Highly recommend!
