65 yrs old, 57 degree curve scoliosis, chronic back pain and left leg was becoming more and more painful. Spinal fusion T-9 all the way down, 4 rods, cage, screws etc. Dr. Geck and his staff have been awesome thru the whole process. I am 6 mos post op and life is good, pain free!!
Dr Geck listened before he spoke and summed things up. He did not interrupt me. He explained things well and in the detail I needed.
Kind. Honest. A plan of care was initiated for the issues.

I met with Dr Geck and he explained everything very well. The nurses are very helpful.
Dr. Geck ruined my life. He was all the good things people say about him UNTIL surgery resulted in permanent nerve damage, which has left me in 24-7 pain and unable to sleep through a single night. As soon as he learned I wasn't a 'satisfied customer,' everything about his demeanor changed. I have seen several specialists and other surgeons. Dr. Geck was very professional and completely explained my back issues and how to go about fixing them. I have extreme confidence in him and his staff taking the best of care of me.
He was very prompt & attentive of my medical needs. His medical team is superb & responds immediately which to me makes is extremely important. I understand my surgeon is with patients but it’s important to get answers as quickly as possible in my world when I have so many moving parts to deal with & it seems like what I have is evolving daily. I was referred to Dr. Geck from my doctor in San Antonio. I was able to get in to see him within 2 weeks. Dr. Geck was extremely informative and answered all our questions about my severe scoliosis and how he could fix me. He wants to get the best outcome post surgery so ensures you are in the best health possible prior to surgery. It makes a lot of sense! So less downtime after surgery. I am so glad I saw him. His staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Looking forward to having surgery.
