Dr Hughes happened to be at the hospital when I needed emergency surgery. He did an outstanding job fixing me back up ! I highly recommend him if you are needing a great Colorectal doctor /surgeon

It can seem a bit, um, awkward to go to a proctologist aka colorectal surgeon, but I was very pleasantly surprised to have those concerns evaporate due to the very professional and affirming attitude of Dr. Matthew Hughes. My visit was a very positive experience and the medical insights and advice from Dr. Hughes were spot on.
Dr. Hughes has always been pleasant and willing to answer my questions thoroughly. I trust him to be professional with a friendly bedside manner. I will continue to use him for my gastrointestinal issues and colonoscopy procedures.
Honesty and knowledge.
Dr Hughes is a highly skilled physician and surgeon. My colonoscopy results lead to a colonoscopy with excellent communication, explaining the procedure and outcomes, & insurance pre-authorizations. Everything went as explained and planned including outcome timelines and insurance billing’s. Was also pleasantly surprised at the speed of my recovery and less than anticipated post-op discomfort. Dr Hughes and his staff are outstanding, highly recommend.
