Dr. Bui has been thorough and kind in diagnosing and treating my prostate cancer. We was recommended to me by another man who had a prostatectomy with no subseuqnt urinary leakage or incontinence, nor sexual dysfunction (unlike most men I have met or read about). Dr. Matthew Bui was recommended as a “doctor’s doctor” by an employee at Cedars Sinai hospital. I was impressed by his patient, attentive & positive manor, his listening skills, the ample time he took to explain my options, & the amount of information he gave me. When he heard I like to bicycle, he even offered a suggestion on a bicycle seat to switch to. the worst doctor. he is liar. avoid this doctor at any cost. during the surgery i got infection and suffered a lot. i had to have to more surgeries to get rid of this infection. after that he said that i need to wait to heal for one year and he will do the surgery again but when the time came he said that he cant do it because he once failed me and i need to find another doctor. then why you made me wait one year? i had to find another doctor who performed the surgery and repaired all the damage he has done

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DR. BUI! THE BEST DOCTOR SINCE I WAS 18. I WAS SO SCARED BECAUSE ANOTHER DR. SAID I HAD CANCER & WOULD NOT LIVE. DR BUI SAID HE COULD NEVER TELL ME THAT UNLESS THERE WAS PATHOLOGY. BOY THAT MADE A LOAD OF SENSE! HE DID ALL THE TESTS IMMEDIATELY & I WAS IN DA VINCI SURGERY IN 4 DAYS. I WAS ON A SHORT TRIP FOR 4 DAYS TO SUDDENLY REALIZE I MAY DIE. Robotic prostatectomy: I found Dr Bui through a referral and became completely convinced after seeing projects.propublica.org/surgeons/ and meeting him. He exudes very high confidence yet remains caring and down-to-earth. He took the time to explain everything from possible complications to alternative treatment (radiation). On the day of surgery, he took time to answer all questions and strongly advocated for TED hose which the pre-op nurses had not provided. Much more to say - no room left

Dr. Bui embodies a combination of qualities that are not easily found in todays medical practitioners. He is highly competent and knowledgable, but at the same time has an unusually good bedside manner. He solicits questions and takes the time to listen and respond with meaningful input. I am completely satisfied with medical care I have received and thankful that I found such an excellent physician. I highly recommend Dr. Bui!!
