I am surprised that this Dr. is affiliated with Valley View Hospital. Having visited his practice in both Eagle and Glenwood, I took my eyes elsewhere for cataract surgery, as did several others I know of. Having a degree on your wall should not entitle you to be arrogant, self-serving, and of dubious skill.
I had cataract surgeries with Dr Ehrlich (Eye Center of the Rockies). My experience was nothing but bad. For each office visit I was taken behind, one important scheduled appointment was moved way back for no reason, and not excuse, same for one of the surgery dates. For the the first surgeries, after an initial wait I was on hold in the pre-op room, all prepped with the IV and with the Pledget sponge in my eye for over 3 hours. The eye was hurting real bad. This Man is a crook, he blinded my grandfather! His staff would not not help me understand why he charged us $1200 even thogh insurance cover his services. Please if you have a loved one, DO NOT let them be treated by this man.
I was a patient of Dr. Ehrlich’s for cataract surgery in both eyes. My optometrist referred me to him due to my young age and the nature of my cataracts. I’m very grateful Dr. Ehrlich was my surgeon, he took great care of me, keeping me informed throughout the process of office visits & surgery. The surgery has been a life changing experience, for the first time in my life I have 20/20 (distance) vision. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services. - Karla
