Adderall prescription after my first appointment? Really? I got an appointment for an Autism Diagnosis. I waited a whole year for this appointment from the time I asked for an apt. I went in, he was very understanding of how my brain works and asked a lot of questions. Hands down one of the smartest doctors/psychiatrist I have ever seen and had the pleasure to come across. I can not recommend him enough!! He is so kind and truly cares about helping people. He definitely knows his stuff and 100% worth the long wait to get in to see him. Thank you Dr Carey, I am so glad you were brought into my life at a time of my life that I feel is the lowest and hardest, struggling time of my 45 years on this earth.
I would give him a 0 if i could and still inform you guys that he is DANGEROUS!! He refuses to listen and put me on mirtazapine and increased my Hydroxyzine from 10mg to 150mg. He said i didnt need to tapper up. I have heart problems. I knew better to not follow directions. Even 2 months later i cant go above 50mg of Hydroxyzine without passing out. He's helped me through some very difficult things. He does not coddle me. He makes me responsible for myself. I like that. I need that. I find comfort in his guidance and he really listens to me about my medications.
Dr. Carey is fantastic! I had been to so many other doctors and finally Dr. Carey was able to get me stabilized and on the right medications! Absolutely love him!
