On my first visit I felt Dr. Handling was professional and thorough.
Referred by ER. A fall @ home. Sprained right ankle.
He was wonderful, he listen to me and my pain. This is hard to find a doctor that hears you, he does.
Dr Handling is knowledgeable and skilled. He listens to his patients, and has a pleasant personality.
Perfect visit
Even though he had no time in the schedule, he fit me in any way. Diagnosed problem quickly and recommended safe course of action. Explained it very well! Easy to see why hes a top Doc.
I've been to Dr. Handling several times for a right knee issue. It needs a knee replacement, but he finds fluid on the knee and removes the fluid and gives me a shot and it makes it better for about six months or so. He is very informative, and keeps the pain from the needles to a bare minimum. I love his bedside manner and he knows exactly how to treat my issue. He's the best.
Dr. Handling is exceptional at explaining test and diagnostic results in terms of available options for best solution to achieve results sought. My experience with past surgeries by Dr. Handling has earned my complete trust in his skill, especially at 80 plus years of age. His caring manner adds ease to the already anxious circumstances of surgery.
Dr. Handling understands runners. His advice for my complex meniscus tear was to do everything we can first to use surgery as a last resort. Strengthening, rest days, stretching, injection later if needed. He's a surgeon who recommended that I delay surgery if at all possible. That is highly respectable medical advice!
