I found Dr. Thornburg to be friendly, caring and thorough. The treatment plan he gave me is helping my back pain already.
I suffered with pain in an elbow for almost two years. He was quick to decide a course of treatment and after three weeks, I feel like I am finally getting better. I appreciate his approach so much I plan to work with him to repair an injured shoulder too.

Everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. The two who checked me in, the lady who took my history, the nurse assistant who guided me to my room, the xray tech and Dr. Thornburg all seemed truly concerned for me and very skilled in their positions there.
I am always amazed how quickly and efficiently that COG runs. We are always in and out of the office quicker than any other doctor’s office I have ever been to. Dr. Thornburg is very thorough and cares about his patients. He takes the time and i never feel like we are being rushed while we visit him. I hope we don’t need to go back to COG, but if we do, i know he will take care of us.
I’ve been working with Dr Thornburg for six years. He has always been willing to take time to explain the process and listen to my thoughts and issues. I’ve never felt like he was pushing me one way or another on treatments, but working to help me pick the procedure best for my situation.
He was very pleasant. Prompt! Procedure done was well explained and executed. He seemed very sincere. I would recommend him highly
Dr. Thornburg explains things in detaiol and easy to understand terms. He gives you choices of things to do to help your situation. He is prompt and you don't feel rushed.
The Dr was very good with our 9 year old daughter he made her feel very comfortable telling him about her accident.
