How do I keep getting so lucky with contractors?! This company was excellent to work with and helped out and took care of me every step of the way. It started with Matrix canvasing the neighborhood and I was intrigued because we have wanted to finish our basement but slowly realized we were never going to do it ourselves. Matrix finished our basement about 2.5 years ago. 22/23. Sales person was a bit rude. It was his 2nd time at the house and he thought he was coming out this time just to have purchase agreement signed. The first visit was with my husband. I was asking about pricing because I thought it was a bit high considering it was pretty basic finish. No bathroom, bar, or such. Considering the size of the project, they deserve five stars. There were a few bumps along the way but they were all addressed promptly and to our satisfaction by our great field manager, Michael Anderson. Michael was always in touch with us and kept us appraised of the project. The only real complaint I have is with the plan review. Our rep has likely done hundreds of basements while we've done one. Matrix did a great job with the craftsmanship of our new basement. There were many contractors to fulfill the project in a reasonable time frame. Everything was coordinated well, with a structured monthly schedule that ensured the finished basement was completed on time.
