This is my 2nd visit to Matilda's Braiding Salon. I was referred by my niece. It was a good referral. Maggie was my stylist. She's professional, quick, courteous and my Ghana twists look amazing and lasted a long time. I will be back...
I've been coming here for the past six years and have always been treated like I'm a king on a throne lol but this is a awesome shop with the best workers a boss couldn't ask for a better staff. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Matilda's is #1!
Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. BRAIDS are always neat and last long enough.. Always come here for braids..
I went to Matildas after looking at her web page and reviews. I must say the staff is very nice. I asked for small senegalese twist so the middle wouldn't be parted extra big. Okay they were extra big. I went back 3 days later and she fixed the middle with no problem. I explained and showed her how 80% of my twist were crooked and didn't look right. They were not neat and straight. The woman who did my hair said it wasn't nothing wrong with them and when she told the other employees they just didn't say anything. I'm walking... read more
I went to get micro braids yesterday, and I am very please with how my hair turned out. Mathilda was very nice and gave me a consultation about my hair before service was performed. This was the first braiding shop I went to that doesn't treat you like a number. The service was excellent, and the staff were very nice and friendly. Sammy did my braids, and she took her time with making sure my braids were on point.
My braids are absolutely beautiful. Mathilda braided my hair in 5 hours and she even styled it in a bun. I am receiving compliments from so many people. Mathilda has a very nice personality and she instructed me on how to maintain my braids. I am very happy with the results and you would be also.
First, I would like to thank the owner Mathilda and the ladies in the braiding salon for a being friendly, patient, and fast. I had to return back to the shop to get my hair fixed. No extra charge. I absolutely love hair. I've had my Senegalese twist in over a month now and my hair still looks fresh. I finally found my go to hair braiding salon.
I love this place they work very fast and make you comfortable
