Can't Really Ask For More – Mastro's is a first-class operation from top to bottom. Every single thing in that place...the steaks, the sides, the appetizers, the breadbaskets, the service...they are all meticulously crafted to perfection. an all time favorite – mastro's BH, is still one of my all time favorite steak houses. I find they are most consistent with the quality of food and temperature of their steaks. although they have reason to be boastful, staff is always friendly and cordial. ambiance is great, but there's a different feel depending on which room/area you end up dining. for the most part, you can expect a warm steakhouse feel, lots of murmur on busy nights, with great live piano jazz. Steaks not good as expected, but service was great – I took my best friend here for his birthday. The big guy outside was so nice and friendly even as we left the place and were trying to take a picture next to the big chandelier he offered to take it of us and even insisted on taking one of us outside in front of the mastro?s sign, so ridiculously nice!! Wow, their food is amazing. – I loved everything that I had there. Oyster's were good but some were to small. The NY peppered steak was perfect. The side dishes were finger licking good. We had Mpotatoes with lobster and potatoes. The sin cake is fork licking good. The Service was friendly and super fast. The only thing I didn't like is how loud the upstairs was. Next time we will request a table downstairs.
Best Steaks ever – Took my boyfriend here for Valentine's and the service was impeccable from the minute we walked in the door. They sat us in the wine room and started with the Oysters..yummy! We both got the filet in bone (from other recommendations) and the lobster mash potatoes---TO DIE FOR!!!! We got the butter cake for dessert, didnt really care for it next time going for the sin cake! We cant wait to go back!!
Another Honest Review – For those people who feel I am only negative in my reviews. Not negative just brutally honest. Its refreshing to see a company who can get "it". Mastro's has worked out the formula for success. I went last week with my girl friend (for the 8th time) and we were greeted very politely by the host. The ABSOLUTE best steakhouse! – I love Maestros!!! This is the best steakhouse I have ever been to. I recommend the ahi tuna tartar, petite filet, lobster mashed potatoes, and the chocolate sin cake! You will NOT leave hungry! I have nothing bad to say about this establishment. They get very busy on the weekend, so I recommend reservations. Also request your table to be upstairs. There is a piano player on the weekends as well playing great jazz. The wine list is amazing as well. A very special evening that won't dissapoint.
Excellent steak, upbeat scene – Great steaks (and prime rib) cooked perfectly. Fun, upbeat lively atmosphere if you sit upstairs (quieter, more "clubby" downstairs). Good service. Huge drinks. Previously, my favorite steak houses included Morton's, Ruths Chris, and the great steak houses of Las Vegas (the Prime at the Bellagio and SW in Wynn). I now think Mastro's is my favorite of them all, and will definitely go back.
Wonderful food, wonderful service – Good Music everyday, Full Bar, Great Manu, balcony for smokers. I was there with my husband on Tuesday night celebration his birthday and we had a wonderful time. My husband ordered steak which was exceptionally prepared and I ordered an Alaskan halibut which was exquisite. We also had lobster mash potatoes that we out of this world. We enjoyed music and danced a little. Maestro's is expensive, but well worth the price. I will defiantly go there again.
