I haven't been to Mastro's in 9 years, but the food was every bit as magical as I remembered it to be... The ribeye I had 9 years ago was already the best steak I've had yet, but I had the Wagyu and exceeded my expectation by leaps and bounds... The meat was so tender, I didn't even have to saw through the steak; it practically fell right through, and eating it was a delightful experience of its own.
Great service and food.great for a special occasion make sure you are hungry
Neat place, sadly, i must give 3 star due to a thumbs down on the "lobster mashed potatoes". It was my birthday dinner celebration, had a bite of the potatoes and got stuck with a large piece of lobster that i could not chew/swallow which forced me to go to the restroom to spit it out.
