Disaster!! – Waited over an hour past our reservation time, several other people were in the same situation. Only highlight of the evening was meeting an English gentleman and his lovely companion from a prominent orange county family who had the same problem. She booked weeks in advance and told us that the staff had been extremely unhelpful, unwilling to provide even elementary assistance. Reservations are no guarantee of a table. Arctic char... you can't find it – We started with Oysters Rockerfeller, exceptional recommendation by our waiter Troy. Not many restaurants serve arctic char; it was lightly seasoned and floured- cooked and presented perfectly! My husband had a rib-eye steak and it was good, but he liked my arctic char better. The service was appropriately attentive. We had an early dinner with a lovely (open) window table. Watching the sun set during dinner was a true southern California experience.
