I'm a patient of Dr. Dean Donahue and I was just discharged today. He performed surgery on 2/6. I knew Dr. Donahue was wonderful but I wasn't pleasantly surprised at how helpful, sincere, and nice everyone else was. From the anesthesiologist, to the surgical residents, to the army of nurses that took care of me; each one made me feel like I was their only patient and that they truly cared how I was doing.
Since it's the only place anyone in my family ever had brain surgery, I can't compare, but I can't imagine anyone doing it better.
Grew up in BOS. Mass General was then and still is the premier hospital with Dr from Harvard. The rest of the world would come to Mass General for the best medical plan and information to recover their health
I know of so many success stories because of the the research, and the highly qualified team of medical professionals that dedicate themselves to making medicine better, and MGH should be proud.
I had back surgery at Mass General 2 years ago. I had a wonderful neurosurgeon Dr. Lawrence Borges the head of Neuro. Pain free ever since! Awesome hospital and Doctor!
I have been going to Mass General for at least 40 years. I am a breast Cancer survivor of 8 years. Always received wonderful care.
MGH is the best. The doctors and nurses are the best, most professional and caring. Their care has added years to my life.
When my brother was in the Hospital last year and was very sick, I never saw much caring kindness and that I will never forget. MGH. #1 Thank you.
