Was sent here Friday night because I thought i was having another gall stone attack! So I drove to the ER waited 2hrs to be seen another hour to get checked out.. my pain level was beyond a 10.. they have me pain meds and nausea meds which helped.. was told i was gonna be put in a room and it never happened was in a bed near nurses desks for 14hrs!! Didn't get an ultra sound or CT scan til much later!! Was given the results and sent on my way.. I told them it hurts near my ribs when i breath in which it still does .. i am sc... read more
I had a very good experience and the Doctors and Nurse's were amazing.
I'm in the Neuro ICU at MGH. I could not ask for better treatment in a more up-to-date facility staffed by kinder and competent People. I'm very lucky to be here.
I've been a patient at mgh since 1978. Now they have saved my life 4 times. Massive GI bleed then cancer X2 and 3 years ago my liver transplant. By now it's starting to feel like home ❤️. I don't even mind follow up visits because I get to see my mgh team that feels like family. Thank you Mass General Hospital for helping me at age 17 when I had glass in my hand and you cleaned me up in the ER until today when you watch over me like a sweet angel. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Not sure what is happening at MGH. Because neurosurgeon's office couldn't or should I say wouldn't take the less than 2 minutes it would have taken to adjust my father's shunt. I have now had to take A 90 year old to the ER for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. We got here at around 1:00pm yesterday afternoon and it is now nearly 4:30am. No rooms available in observation unit so we are such in the ER still waiting for Neurology to come. All the tests were done hours ago. Words cannot express the way I feel about the team taking care of my daughter
Was sent here from an oral surgeon since he felt it safer for me to be hospitalized to have my wisdom teeth removed under general anesthesia and stay to be observed due to medical history. So I drive the 1 hour and 40 minutes here for an emergency visit due to excruciating mouth pain from a broken wisdom tooth and an abscess on each of my upper wisdom teeth, to have a dentist in the dental clinic pull only one of my teeth with just novocaine.
